GLOBAL PASS Family Cards Now Available at Age 12!

We are pleased to inform you that the age requirement for applying for a GLOBAL PASS family card will be lowered from 16 years old to 12 years old to make our services more convenient for you, effective from July 14, 2025.

With a GLOBAL PASS family card, your family member can use the same features as you can. Of course, your family member can pay in foreign currency, immediately deducted from your foreign currency deposit.

As cashless payments are becoming more common both in Japan and overseas, living without a credit or debit card is becoming harder. Carrying large amounts of cash overseas can be risky.
We have decided to lower the age limit to support junior high school students at overseas payments scenes - such as for summer school, studying abroad, and school trips.
PRESTIA's GLOBAL PASS family card is ideal for your child's or grandchild's daily shopping, travel, and studying abroad.

Convenient ways to use GLOBAL PASS family card

Registering for the PRESTIA Alert Service and GLOBAL PASS Member's Website makes your GLOBAL PASS safer and more convenient.
How to register

• *Please note that only the account holder can register for the PRESTIA Alert Service.

• Receive alerts for family member's usage (PRESTIA Alert Service)
• Receive notifications when your family cannot use the card and the reason why(GLOBAL PASS Member's Website)
  • *Alerts and notifications will also be sent when the card is used by the account holder.
• Changing a usage limit (GLOBAL PASS Member's Website)
  You can change your usage limit for withdrawals from domestic and overseas ATMs and Visa transactions (including online shopping).
  You can set a usage limit from the first to the last day of each month, making it easy for managing monthly allowances.
  
  • *Please note that the account holder can change a usage limit.
• Suspend/Resume Card Usage(GLOBAL PASS Member's Website)
• You can activate the card only when needed and keep it turned off otherwise.

Family card application form can be requested through PRESTIA Phone Banking.
