Suspension of Overseas Remittances Registrations for "Payments for the Acquisition of Real Estate", "Loan Receivable", "Donation, Gift, Compensation Payment to Corporation"

Thank you very much for banking with SMBC Trust Bank.

In order to further strengthen measures against money laundering and terrorist financing, we will stop accepting new remittance registration services, including Fixed Amount Automatic Remittance, for the following remittance purposes on and after Monday, March 17,2025.
Also, existing Fixed Amount Automatic Remittances for the following purposes will be suspended on the same schedule.

Payment for the Acquisition of Real Estate
Loan Receivable
Donation, Gift, Compensation Payment to Corporation

In addition, PRESTIA Online, PRESTIA Mobile, and SMBC Trust Bank App will no longer accept overseas remittances to registered payees with such remittance purposes on and after Monday, March 17, 2025. Request a remittance each time through PRESTIA Phone Banking, by postal mail or over the branch counter instead.
