Notification Regarding Switching Cash Cards and Termination of Overseas Use of Cash Card Issued Before October 1, 2019

Dear Valued Customer,

Thank you for banking with SMBC Trust Bank.
Please be advised to switch your cash cards(*1) to GLOBAL PASS (Multi Currencies Visa Debit with Cash Card), as your cash cards cannot be used at overseas ATMs after September 30, 2021.

• (*1) The cards subject to the switching : all the cash cards (including family cards) issued by September 30, 2019.
  • BANKING CARD (International Cash Card)
  • PRESTIA Gaika Cash Card (a cash card for withdrawals of U.S. dollars)
  • Cash Card issued by our former bank (not PRESTIA).

We request to switch your cards to GLOBAL PASS. GLOBAL PASS is usable at overseas ATMs now and after October 1, 2021. The switching is available online(*2) as well as postal mail, etc.

We are reaching out to customers who have not yet switched to GLOBAL PASS through any of our multiple channels, including Branch. Please note that we would never verbally ask your Cash Card PIN or T-PIN (Telephone Personal Identification Number) over the phone. SMBC Trust Bank employee, bankers' association member, the police or parcel delivery service company employee would never take your cash card off the bank premises, either.

What to do if your card is Lost or Stolen? Contact us immediately.

If personal information (e.g. account number, Cash Card PIN or T-PIN) is stolen or card is missing/stolen, please call PRESTIA Call Center(*3) immediately. We will promptly take necessary measures according to your request.
