Thank you very much for banking with SMBC Trust Bank PRESTIA.

Please be informed that there will be 10 consecutive banking holidays from Saturday, April 27 to Monday, May 6, 2019.
We are preparing to avoid inconvenience to customers, but it is expected that before and after the consecutive holidays the Branches will be crowded, also it will take more time than usual for PRESTIA Phone Banking and various services.

We request for your cooperation to make sure to have enough time for any service required also when you visit the Branch.

You can use ATMs at our branches, Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporation (SMBC) ATMs, and other ATMs of the affiliated financial institutions such as Japan Post Bank, Seven Bank, E-Net, and other commercial and local banks.

You can use an overseas partner ATMs during the consecutive holidays.

Branch/ Mini-Branch

All Branch / Mini Branch offices will be closed.

  • *Saturday banking service will be available at below branches only on April 27, 2019 (Sat).

Ginza branch, Shinjuku Minamiguchi branch, Yokohama branch, Nagoya Ekimae branch, Osaka Ekimae branch

  • *On Saturday, May 4, 2019, the above branches will be also closed.

You can use the in-branch ATM corner as usual, but the available time varies depending on the Branch, so please check in advance before use.

For various transactions and services, it will take more time than usual before and after 10 consecutive holidays.
Please check the below information before proceeding.

Overseas Remittance Outgoing overseas remittance
  • Remittance ordered before the holiday could be processed after the holiday, and remittance ordered after the holiday could take more time to be processed than usual.
  • Should there be an inquiry from receiving bank on the remittance sent before the holiday, the fund could be refunded due to overdue for the reply. In that case additional charge may apply.
Incoming overseas remittance
  • Incoming remittance might take more time to be processed than it normally does.
Domestic Remittances
  • Remittance order accepted after the cutoff time on April 26 (Fri) will be processed by debiting the account on May 7 (Tue) after the holidays.
    • *Regarding ATM, please refer ATM services of Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporation.
Deposits Foreign Currency Time Deposits
  • 1-week term Foreign Currency Time Deposit transaction will not be available at any channels during the following period due to system constraint.
    *April 26 (Fri) 15:00~April 30 (Tue) 23:59
  • In case of maturity dates or interim interest payment dates of Foreign currency Time Deposit fall within the 10-day Golden Week holiday period, those will be processed on or after Tuesday, May 7, 2019. Those Time deposits can be inquired as original deposits via PRESTIA Phone Banking (via Automated Voice Guidance Service) and PRESTIA Online during the period.
Premium Deposits
  • Premium Deposit transactions will not be available during 10-day Golden Week holiday period.
  • 1-week term Premium Deposit transactions will not be available during the following period due to system constraint.
    *April 20 (Sat) 00:00~April 23 (Tue) 23:59
Loan Products

Traveler's Checks(T/C) denominated in Foreign currency and Japanese Yen.

    The acceptance of all Traveler's Checks(T/C) will be temporary suspended during the period shown as below.

      April 25 (Thu) 17:00~May 7 (Tue) 9:00
Foreign Currency Cash Delivery
  • Shipment notice;
    The order until April 25 (Thu) 14:00 will be delivered before the "10 consecutive holidays" begins.
  • The order after the above time will be delivered after May 8 (Wed).
Mail related services
  • Requests by mail including cash card reissuance etc. will take more time than usual.
