PRESTIA Rewards

If you have PRESTIA Visa GOLD CARD or PRESTIA Visa PLATINUM CARD, we will provide you 'V Point*' points based on your monthly amount of eligible transactions.

  • *V Point is a point service provided by Sumitomo Mitsui Card Co., Ltd. based on your credit card usage. Normally, you will earn 1 point for every 200 yen (including tax) spent for GOLD CARD or 100 yen (including tax) spent for PLATINUM CARD. Depending on the amount of points you have, you can invest, make daily purchases, exchange for prizes, or transfer to other point programs.

Account maintenance fee waiver
If you have PRESTIA Visa GOLD CARD or PRESTIA Visa PLATINUM CARD, your SMBC Trust Bank PRESTIA account maintenance fee will be waived.*
  • *If you cancel your PRESTIA Visa Card, this fee will not be waived. In addition, family members are not eligible.
  • *SMBC Trust Bank PRESTIA charges a monthly account maintenance fee to your account on the second business day of each month. Please note, however, that no such fee will be charged for the month in question if your Total Average Monthly Relationship Balance of the previous month or other conditions satisfy specific requirements.

Notes about PRESTIA Rewards

  • Only a card you have on the last business day of each month is eligible for these rewards.
  • These rewards are available only when you designate an SMBC Trust Bank account as the credit card's charge account.
  • As a rule, points are granted two months after the month in which you made the transaction. However, please be aware that this may be delayed due to system-related issues, etc.
  • Points cannot be granted if the correct account number is not filled in the application form.
  • Please note that if your card has been canceled or suspended when points are allocated, it may not be eligible for rewards.
  • When you switch the card that is eligible for rewards, the number of points granted for a certain transaction amount may change depending on the card to which you are switching.
  • Family members are not eligible.
  • Rewards and reward conditions may be changed or discontinued at any time without notice.

Notes about the calculation period for discounted annual membership fees

  • Only card spending (sales data) from participating stores arriving at Sumitomo Mitsui Card Co., Ltd. during the calculation period is eligible. Any sales data not arriving during the calculation period will be excluded from the total.
  • Annual membership fees, some insurance premiums, cash advance payments, etc. will not be included in your total card spending.

Important Notes for applications

  • Applications for the PRESTIA Visa GOLD CARD or PRESTIA Visa PLATINUM CARD are screened by Sumitomo Mitsui Card Co., Ltd. For this reason, you will be contacted by Sumitomo Mitsui Card Co., Ltd. about the results of the screening. Not all applications are accepted. SMBC Trust Bank has no connection with credit card services, including this review process. Any disputes related to results of these reviews are resolved between the customer and Sumitomo Mitsui Card Co., Ltd.
  • English versions of Terms and Conditions and Additional Clauses are for reference purposes only. If there are any differences from the Japanese version, the Japanese version shall prevail.
  • Please be aware that the charge statements and after-sales services* are all provided in Japanese.
    • *Address change procedures, procedures for applying for additional cards, all procedures related to the associated insurance, various communications, etc.
  • Application forms and any other documents submitted during the application process cannot be returned.
  • Please note that you cannot apply for the card with addresses outside Japan.
  • Rewards and reward conditions may be changed or discontinued at any time without notice.
  • If you close your SMBC Trust Bank savings account, your affiliated credit card will also be canceled automatically.
  • *PRESTIA Visa GOLD CARD and PRESTIA Visa PLATINUM CARD are credit cards issued by Sumitomo Mitsui Card Co., Ltd.
