    When making domestic fund transfer (Unregistered Payee) via online banking, the financial institution selection screen currently classifies Wise Payments Japan K.K. as a "Bank."

    However, Wise Payments Japan K.K. is not a bank under the Banking Act, but rather a registered Fund Transfer Service Provider.

  • Impact on Transactions and Future Actions

    If the recipient information (such as account name and account number) is entered correctly, transfers to Wise Payments Japan K.K. will be processed without any issues.

    We are planning to correct the display of financial institution classification selection screen in the future.
