SMBC Trust Bank is working to contribute to global environmental issues by reducing the use of paper resources to conserve forests and to reduce CO₂ emissions.

Paperless efforts from April 2024 to March 2025.

• Number of reduced paper statements: 2,428,396
• Number of paper documents reduced through Internet banking procedures: 54,603

SMBC Trust Bank has donated part of its profits generated by paperless cost savings, such as paperless services through statements/torihikizandaka-hokokusyo on the Web and through Internet banking procedures, to the forest conservation organization "more trees".
