Individual customers who have an account with SMBC Trust Bank PRESTIA.

Awards

• 1If you transfer yen funds from an overseas account under your name to SMBC Trust Bank PRESTIA and use the funds to purchase foreign currency equivalent to 3 million yen or more per transaction, you will receive a cash award of 5,000 yen for every 1 million yen. (Up to 100,000 yen in total*1 per customer; For PRESTIA GOLD PREMIUM customers, up to 250,000 yen in total*1 per customer.)

• *1The maximum total cash award amount is the combined amount for this program and those under the "Transfer funds from overseas" program ("Transferring foreign currency funds" plan).

• 2If you apply for this program and purchase foreign currency at the same time using the yen funds transferred (up to the actual amount transferred), foreign exchange commissions will be free (normally the maximum of 1 yen per currency unit, one way).

Qualifications

You must meet all the conditions ①②③.

• 1Transfer yen funds of 3 million yen or more per transaction from your overseas account to your SMBC Trust Bank PRESTIA account, either through overseas remittance or a check deposit (denominated in yen and issued by an overseas bank). (Funds transferred from an overseas account in a foreign currency but converted to yen during the transfer or when deposited to your SMBC Trust Bank PRESTIA account are also eligible.)
• 2Apply for this program at SMBC Trust Bank PRESTIA branches or via PRESTIA Phone Banking within three months after the deposit was made to your SMBC Trust Bank PRESTIA account.
• 3Purchase foreign currency of 3 million yen or more per transaction*1 using the deposited yen funds at the same time when you apply for this program*2 via our branches or telephone (except Automated Voice Guidance Service).

• *1Foreign Currency Savings Deposit, Foreign Currency Time Deposit and other products. For details, please contact us via telephone or visit one of our branches.
• *2Foreign exchange commissions will be waived only if you purchase foreign currency at the same time when you apply for this program.
  If you purchase foreign currency before applying for this program, the exchange fee paid will not be refunded. However, the transaction is still eligible for a cash award.

• *An application is required every time a deposit is made.

• *Customers performing foreign currency deposit transactions will be required to conclude a PRESTIA MultiMoney Foreign Currency Savings Deposit Contract. Please check "Notes about Foreign Currency Deposits" below for details.
• *This program will be applied if you purchase foreign currency using the yen funds transferred from an overseas account and hold the funds as foreign currency deposits or as investment products, etc. (certain conditions apply for purchasing investment products, etc.) with PRESTIA.
• *There may be a maximum transfer amount depending on financial institution. Additionally, there may be fees involved when making a transfer from another financial institution.

• When receiving funds from a foreign account for the first time, you need to notify My Number (Individual Number) .

Ineligible Transactions

• *Transferring foreign currency funds to PRESTIA MultiMoney Foreign Currency Savings Deposit or U.S. Dollar Savings Deposit.
  If you have transferred foreign currency funds to your SMBC Trust Bank PRESTIA account, please refer to the application details under "Transfer funds from overseas" program ("Transferring foreign currency funds" plan). Transferred foreign currency funds that have been converted to yen are not eligible.
• *Of the amount of foreign currency purchased, the portion in excess of the amount of yen funds transferred from an overseas account (Foreign exchange commissions will be charged for such portion.)
• *If you purchase foreign currency using the yen funds transferred from an overseas account, such funds that are planned to be converted to yen deposits or to be withdrawn soon after the purchase will NOT be eligible for either plan under the "Transfer funds from overseas" program.
• *Purchased foreign currency funds that are planned to be converted to yen deposits or to be withdrawn soon after the purchase are not eligible.
• *At the time of cash award payment, if the amount of funds deposited in this program is less than the application amount, or if the deposit of check has not been completed, may not be eligible at our discretion.
• *The Premium Benefit may not be applicable at our discretion if the specified requirements for PRESTIA GOLD PREMIUM status is not satisfied at the time of cash award provision.

• *The maximum total cash award amount per person is 100,000 yen (250,000 yen for PREMIUM customers); cash awards under the "Transferring foreign currency funds" plan and the "Deposit yen and purchase foreign currency" plan are to be totaled.

Notes regarding this program

• For customers who are US persons (US citizens, US residents, or Green Card holders), this award amount will be included into the annual reporting to IRS, as your income.
• Please contact your nearest tax office for details about how the awards should be handled in terms of taxations.
• Note that this program may be discontinued or changed (including its content or duration) at any time without prior notice.
  Also note that similar programs may be held after this one has ended.
• This program might not be combined with other programs or campaigns.
• Note that even if the cash award is not applicable, cancellations of transactions accompanying this program are not accepted.
