Notes

Notes on using the currency exchange counters

  • The currency exchange counters only exchange with yen cash. Services as deposit/withdrawals to PRESTIA accounts are not available. Services at the currency exchange counters differ from services at PRESTIA branches.
  • When you sell a foreign currency you have purchased at a currency exchange counter, the yen amount you receive per unit of that currency may be lower than the yen amount you paid per unit when you purchased that currency depending on changes in the exchange rate.
  • When buying or selling a foreign currency, foreign currency buying and selling spread (including foreign exchange fees) is added to our TTM rate. (Please see the table of "List of Currencies Handled".)
  • The currency exchange counters handle only notes, not coins, either for buying or selling a currency.

Other points of attention

  • When handling your transaction, staff may ask you to present identification, such as a driver's license, to verify your name and address.
  • Services are subject to change depending on factors such as social circumstances.
