SMBC Trust Bank will transition to a new system from Saturday July 14, 2018 through Monday July 16 (public holiday), 2018. This system transition enables customers to use new services along with the change to some of our existing products and services and relocation of branches and a mini branch. We will contact you again soon with details of these changes, however in advance, we are providing the following overview of the changes.
Approximately 6,000 ATMs of the Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporation throughout Japan will be available to customers. This alliance with the Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporation will make it possible to deposit or withdraw cash with no transaction fee and to make domestic fund transfers (transaction fee charged), regardless of the time. Even after the transition to the new system, you can continuously use your current cash card.
Internet banking will be fully updated. Foreign currency transactions (Buy/Sell) will use market exchange rate and the application of fund transfers will be expanded to 24 hours a day. Additionally, instead of e-statements delivery, your bank statement in the past 3 years can be viewed at all times at PRESTIA Online.

During the transition to the new system, all ATM and Internet banking transactions will be suspended, from the evening of Friday July 13, 2018 through Monday July 16 (public holiday), 2018. Please note that during the suspension, you will not be able to use our bank's cash cards at all of other banks' ATMs including overseas ATMs. We will open our branches with the new system on Tuesday July 17, 2018.
The six branches including Akasaka branch, Ikebukuro branch, Gotanda branch, Shinjuku Higashiguchi branch, Fujisawa mini branch, and Fukuoka branch will be closed at 3 pm on Friday July 13, 2018 and will be relocated on Tuesday July 17. More Details
